Equestrian Entries is a private company founded in 2008 focusing on simplifying and streamlining sign up and payment for events and services throughout the equestrian world. No more frustrating forms. No more not being able to pay by credit card. Equestrian Entries offers fast, easy registration for Horse Trials, Dressage Shows, Clinics, Yearly Memberships, and Special Events. Our powerful site engine, EntryGuard TM, ensures your security while providing correct, complete entries. All at no cost to the event organizer!

About the Team

Georges Schneider, Founder, CEO

Georges Schneider started riding horses at about the same time she started walking. She's been a breeder, an owner, a competitor and a long-time show volunteer. She recently served as Show Committee head for the East Bay Chapter of the California Dressage Society.. When she's not working on Equestrian Entries, Georges can be found working with her 2 year old warmblood filly "Whimsy". She and "Whimsy" are hoping to do some in-hand classes in 2012. Georges has an undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Irvine, an MBA from UC Berkeley and more than a decade of high tech development experience.

Polly Classen, Business Manager

Polly Claassen started riding horses in elementary school, but by junior high had figured out that business was in all likelihood far more profitable. To that end, she graduated from UCLA and proceeded to work in various areas of finance and general administration for the next several decades. She has worked in a broad variety of companies, stretching from Capitol Records to NASA. She is a certified HR Manager, has run her own property management company for ten years, and now spends her days keeping EqEntries running in a smooth, orderly, drama-free fashion. She specializes in database implementation, and keeps her focus on streamlining existing business practices for the greatest bottom line impact. In her free time she chases her energetic 7 year old through the forest, feeds deer by hand, and takes far too many photos of wild turkeys.

Mark Salvatore, Lead Developer

Mark has been a web developer since the age of Mosaic (c. 1994). He has built and maintained sites for Ascend Communications, Lucent Technologies, and Electronic Arts before committing to an independent career in 2005. Since then, he has built end-to-end e-commerce solutions, digital asset libraries, and engineered content migrations for retail companies and online services. He is a full-stack developer with expertise in the front and backend of web application development, competent with Apache, PHP, MySQL, CSS, and Javascript. He works remotely from various locations in the United States and Latin America.
